Buffalo City - Overview

The Faculty of Business Sciences is one of the eleven (11) faculties of Walter Sisulu University (WSU). It is one of the two faculties of the Buffalo City Campus that is based at the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality in East London. It offers programmes in five sites: Chiselhurst, College Street, Heritage, Border Rugby Stadium and Potsdam site. The faculty has five departments: Accounting and Finance, Corporate Communication and Marketing, Management and Governance, People Development and Technology and Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Management. The faculty offers 30 programmes and has about 4 700 registered students.

In future, the faculty intends to offer Post Graduate Diplomas, Masters Degrees and PhDs. It is also in the plans to establish an institute of Governance to cater for public officials. Furthermore, we intend to establish a Hotel School in East London.
