Rules and Regulations
The possession of a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or its equivalent shall serve as the general admission requirement in all programmes offered by the Department.
Entrance Requirements
A National Senior Certificate (NSC Bachelors or Diploma pass) with achievement rating of at least 3 (40-49%) in the following subjects:
English, Business Studies and Accounting
Applicants with a National Certificate Vocational (NCV Level-4) must meet the following requirements:
50 % in three fundamental subjects including LOTL
60% in three relevant compulsory vocational subjects
Duration
3 years full-time
All students currently employed full-time will be admitted on a part-time basis only. Instead of doing the maximum 120 credits per year they will only be allowed to do 96 credits.
Exit Points
Diploma in Human Resources Management after 3 years with 360 credits. Experiential training is not a prerequisite. However students are encouraged to make individual efforts towards exposure to industry. The Department will facilitate this exercise.
