Walter Sisulu University is a Higher Education Institution based in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Formed in 2005, the university has positioned itself as a centre of academic excellence committed to its vision of being a technology infused African university.
WSU is uniquely positioned to play a powerful role in the national government’s focus on rural development in particular. Approximately 30,000 students and close to 1,800 staff live and work across four campuses in Mthatha, Butterworth, Buffalo City (East London) and Komani.
