The department offers three years BSc in Chemistry and BSc in Physics mainstream programmes. There are also corresponding four year programmes (BSc in Physics ECP and BSc in Chemistry ECP) which are similar to the mainstream programme. . In the ECP programmes, the first year of the mainstream is offered over two years. Students join the mainstream groups in the third year of study. There are also postgraduates {BSc (Honours), MSc and Doctoral studies in Chemistry or Physics} programmes. Postgraduate research includes: Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Natural Product Chemistry, Synthesis of Exotic Organic Molecules, Molecular Spectroscopy, Experimental Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Organometallics research fields.
