Welfare Support
Our Student Life and Co-curricular unit facilitates the election of House Committees within each student residence. These committees serve as governing bodies that represent student interests, ensure effective communication, and help maintain a positive residential environment. From among the elected House Committees, a Joint Residence Committee (JRC) is then chosen, providing a unified voice for all residences. This structure helps foster good governance, accountability, and strong student leadership, ultimately contributing to a vibrant and supportive living and learning community.
Welfare Support
Welfare Support services ensure that student well-being remains a top priority within our University. Students can confidentially report any non-maintenance related incidents from their residences, allowing our team to address concerns promptly and maintain a safe living environment. In cases of urgent medical need, the unit can facilitate emergency ambulance responses. This supportive framework helps foster a secure, caring atmosphere where every student’s health and safety are valued.
Facilitating Inclusivity and Awareness for Student of Disability
Facilitate Inclusion and Awareness for Students with Disabilities is a programme dedicated to fostering an accessible, supportive learning environment. Through targeted workshops, advocacy efforts, and resource-sharing, this initiative works to raise understanding, reduce stigma, and ensure that all students with disabilities can fully engage in academic, social, and community life. As a result, it helps create a more inclusive and accommodating university culture where every individual’s needs and contributions are valued.
