The teams would go into halftime with Tuks leading 21 – 3.
A rolling maul five minutes after the break saw the WSU All Blacks clawing their way back through a converted try by hooker, Mangaliso Zixesha.
The home team would make further inroads into the Tuks lead after scoring yet another try five minutes later thanks to a scintillating interception try by right winger Simthembile Zozi.
The Tuks forward pack showed their strength ten minutes later after bullying their way to the try line after overwhelming the WSU scrum.
Minutes later, a sustained period of pressure by the visitors in WSU territory resulted in the home side conceding a penalty try to see Tuks register their fifth try of the night.
