The WSU Convocation is proud to present the 2025 WSU Half Marathon, which was held on the 5th of October 2025 in WSU ZAMAKULINGISA CAMPUS in Mthatha!

The Convocation held its first Half marathon for the year on the 5^th of October 2025. The run was held at the Walter Sisulu University Zamakulungisa Campus at Mthatha.

There were 3 running categories: 21km | 10km | 5km | 1km. Covering a distance from Zamakulingisa Campus to as far as Qunu Place (21 km).

The Walter Sisulu University Convocation Half Marathon 2025 came to a close with a prize giving ceremony. Winners of the marathon were awarded prizes for their outstanding performances. The winners were recognised for their speed, endurance, and dedication to the sport.

The prizes were given out to the top performers in various categories, including men's and women's divisions. The ceremony was filled with excitement and applause as the winners accepted their awards, congratulated on their remarkable achievements. Overall, the event was a huge success, showcasing the determination of the participants.
